Our Mission

The Metis Centre is a social justice and human rights centre working to address inequality and injustice in our community, and to promote safety and wellbeing. Our mission is to address social justice issues through social educational programs and deep community engagement. Our work at The Metis Centre is focused on three key areas:

  • Professional Counselling and Trauma Recovery - working with trauma-informed and integrated care and practice;

  • Social Change & Community Educational Programs on Safety and Wellbeing;

  • Social, Cultural and Environmental Impact Consultancy
